Throughout my experiences at Anoka High School, over the last four years, I've learned the importance of connecting with my peers and the administration. Building these connections has allowed me to make the most out of my education. I would change things to have more staff support systems within the school. I have seen many of my peers who could have benefitted from having more counselors available whether that is for mental, physical, or educational support. I believe even just this change would make a stronger learning environment for all.
I really like Anoka as a public school. I was able to reconnect with friends I hadn't seen since elementary school and also make new friends. Recently, I went to my first football game during Homecoming. You could for sure feel the school spirit during that game even though we ended up losing. It was a really cool experience. My worst high school experience was probably when I got cut from the volleyball team. My self-esteem took a huge plunge after that for rest of sophomore year. Since then, I've gotten a job to keep myself busy. Anoka is a really good school. The teachers care and Mr. Farley is an amazing principal.
This school is the best in my opinion! Out of 5 different schools ive moved to Anoka High school’s principal sooo involved with his students. He even made sure to remember and pronounce everyones name correctly
