On Academics: As with everything else here, academics are simply average. The curriculum focuses on SOL standards, so there probably isn't much wiggle room to discuss things that actually matter. Workload gets a little unmanageable at times because the teachers don't understand that students need time to do other things outside of school, especially in the case of working a part-time job; it's rough, but it's a good thing to do during high school to begin supporting yourself, and teachers don't think about that when assigning tons of homework or classwork to finish.

On Food: The food is nothing to rave about. The staff has to follow Michelle Obama's guidelines for healthy foods, although they could definitely try a little harder to offer more variety/better quality food.

On Student Culture & Diversity: There is very little diversity here. If you don't strongly fit the prep or redneck cookie cutter, you're probably not going to fit in very well with the general population. People are generally close-minded here because of their "strong Southern values". There is also pretty prominent discrimination regarding race, but it's not frequently discussed to the point where it would be called an issue. Overall, laying low or trying to blend in is necessary to make sure you don't get singled out. The small town setting where "everyone knows everyone" is extremely annoying.

On Extracurriculars: There aren't that many clubs to get involved in with this school, but they do meet often and the events they partake in are recognized by the school and community. Sports are a popular choice for students to spend their extra time.

On Resources & Facilities: The resources/facilities at this school are subpar. Nothing extravagant, but provide what's needed. The buildings need to fix the air conditioning issues, though. It's a pain to go into one class that's an average temperature, the next one as cold as Antarctica, and the next more hot than a desert.
