On Health & Safety: They do a decent job, but it's impossible to really patrol 4500 students at a time. That being said, some things do tend to slip past, unnoticed.

On Resources & Facilities: Other students on the bus are often hostile and willing to start fights or pick on fellow students. I never felt very safe when riding the bus because of the actions of other students. The bus drivers would occasionally try and make the students stop misbehaving but for the most part they did not say anything.

On Overall Experience: Bentonville High School was a very good school to attend because of its academic programs, such as AP and IB. I took a variety of classes and feel that I benefited in a positive way because it gave me a taste of what college is going to be like and how I will have to prepare for tests and seek out assistance from teachers as well as form study groups with fellow students in order to succeed. What I did not like about BHS was that a lot of money went to the football team the Bentonville High School Tigers. It is common knowledge that my school takes great pride in the football team but it spends too much money on sports and not enough on academics. Many other people, including teachers, feel the same way and it is very discouraging when a person is trying to make the most out of the academic side but is unable to fully do so because the school places more emphasis on its sports team. For the most part, the faculty are extremely helpful and caring and the students are easy to get along with and talk to and there are classes for everyone interested in an assortment of things. Bentonville High School was a very good school to attend but it could have been improved if it was not so focused on football and spent more on academics.

On Food: The food was okay, but for the price it should have been much better. Also, the vending machines in the halls were locked until 2:30 in the afternoon, so if you couldn't get anything at lunch, you would basically have to wait until you got home to eat.

On Teachers: There were a few teachers that were just awful. However, the majority of teachers were engaging and friendly.
