On Student Culture & Diversity: If you can't find someone to be friends with at Columbine, you are not trying at all. Everyone is very accepting of everyone else. Peer pressure, just like most schools, is quite hard to avoid. Just by looking at someone, you can be pressured to change. Most kids at Columbine are white, so diversity is hard to come by, but it is there if you look. There are many gays and lesbians in the student body, and they have created a club to get all the students, gay and straight, to get along with eachother

On Teachers: A large portion of the teachers are really good and make learning a fun experience. Few teachers turn learning into a grind. All the teachers usually have all grading done within a few days of the assignment being handed in, unless the assignment is a test or an essay. Most teachers use all available technology for teaching students. All the teachers tell students what is for homework, when it is due, and when they are done grading something. They also update their websites frequently for students who were not at school or forgot the homework

On Sports & Fitness: If you go to a football game, you and a ton of other people will be supporting the Rebels using any means necessary. Lots of students and their families go to games for all the teams, even if the team is on the other side of the state. All the teams are really good, and have won state quite a few times. Some teams even won regional games. Lots of guys and girls are involved in sports because there are a lot of sports to choose from. The facilities other than the football field and gym are jointly owned by Foothills Park and Recreation

On Academics: Some teachers dump on the homework, while others only do classwork. This school has IB, AP, and honors courses for the required classes like english, math, science, and social studies. The schedule is a bit goofy because it is a block schedule, but it is quite easy to remember after a while. It really gets messed up when two or more days are taken up by an assembly or a state test.

On Extracurriculars: Some clubs do community service, some help students with homework, and many more are just for people with similar interests can get together and socialize. All clubs must be sponsored by a staff member, so they get involved in the clubs a lot, but they do not control what the club does. Usually when someone joins a club, they will stay in it until graduation. Most after school activities are sports and the community service clubs, the rest are before school or during lunch.
