With this being my official and final year at Cullman High School, I have been able to experince a lot of things in my time. My 8th grade year was cut short due to covid so I had to start high school without getting the actual experience. My freshman year, we had to come to school on a hybrid schedule which was weird during the time. Now that I am a senior a lot of things have changed since thing. We are back in the normal routine but a lot of things have been added to the campus. New rules, new cameras, new expectations that needs to be followed. I feel like with some people there are a lot of clicks that you should be appart of but for the school part with education, it has been pretty good!
Cullman High School is very safe and provides an excellent education, teachers and faculty are constantly motivating the students to perform to their highest ability. The biggest criticism I have is that administrators tend to care more about how the school looks to outsiders than the students' mental well being, they tend to overreact when a group of students takes advantage of a privilege and punish the whole school for multiple years after the occurrence.
During my time at cullman High School, I have made some of the most influential and lasting relationships, been supported by a huge family of wonderful teaches and faculty, and have felt more prepared for the world every day. I have always enjoyed school, but since attending CHS I have been flooded with so many amazing memories good and bad. At Cullman, everyday is a new day and we are greeted with loving faces and open arms. All of my teachers arrive ready and willing to help up succeed! Though my time is coming to and end in the next year and I will graduate and take on the college world, wherever that may be, when I visit home I will always be reminded of my time at Cullman High School and how my fellow classmates, teachers, and faculty have changed my perspective and prepared me for the future.
