On Food: The school has one working drink machine with overpriced Gatorade and Waters. There are no snacks offered and the food is not very good. The food is generic school food that everyone in the entire county eats. The school offers Pizza Hut Pizza and Chick Fil A sandwiches for $4 a piece. The regular food is fairly priced but terrible quality and the food brought in is overpriced and soggy. The school does offer a slushy/smoothie type drink that is decent and the school store(The Agora) sells coffee after school and candy during lunch.

On Student Culture & Diversity: The school is very diverse with people from every walk of life. The students are very accepting of everyone and bullying is not much of an issue.

On Teachers: Overall the teachers are friendly and helpful. There are quite a few exceptions though. Some teachers don't teach and some teachers have no idea what they are doing. Most classes are lecture based, AP classes are mostly lecture based with a ton of homework to supplement what you don't cover in class. Most teachers are willing to help students outside of class especially math teachers. Grading is sometimes spotty between subjects and teachers. Teachers can be difficult to get a hold of outside of class. The online grade portal is a pain for everyone to use and causes issues frequently. In general the teachers care about their students even if the teacher isn't very good.

On Administration & Policies: The Administration is ok. The principal is out of touch with his student but he keeps the school running well. The Administration makes some questionable decisions with money and teachers. The Administration is difficult to talk to, I had an issue with a teacher and it took 2 months and a visit from my parents for the administration to speak to me. The vice principal refuses to talk to students unless a parent gets involved. If you have a problem have a parent do it for you.

On Academics: The school offers a lot of AP classes but that is it. There are not many honors classes, the school has decided that honors classes should be taken on-line as a class period. If you don't take AP you are in remedial classes, some classes don't even have a general class. The entire science program is awful. The teachers rarely teach. Every science class I have taken the teacher has not prepared me for the tests. The school used to have good teachers but they have all moved on. The school strongly pushes AP classes and if for some reason you want to get out of an AP class you most likely won't be allowed to drop it. The English department is one of the strongest that Lincoln has to offer. The language department is about 50/50 on good teachers. The school offers ASL as a foreign language which is unique and the teacher is great. The school also offers Latin but the teacher is unorganized and hardly teaches. History and Math are both decent, most of the teachers are spectacular except for one or two.
