On Teachers: There are really good teachers, and there are really bad teachers. The good teachers I have had the pleasure to have spent my time with were really good with teaching. They knew what they were doing and aided my classes when we needed help. Many of them are enthusiastic about what they are teaching. They also take time to know their students. I didn't have many bad teachers, and that's a good thing. The few that I have experienced did not know how to teach. It was evident that they knew the material, but they didn't know how to make their students understand what they were teaching. Sarcastic jokes were constantly made in the classroom by the teacher. I had to use Youtube to help me understand what I was being taught.

On Resources & Facilities: The outside of the school building looks fine. Many of the rooms inside are good such as the auditorium and gym and some classrooms. But in the hallways, you can see that some of the ceiling tiles have come off and the inner ceilings can be visible. Guidance counselors are ok. The National Honors Society does tutoring during Tuesdays and Thursdays, but not many people come.

On Administration & Policies: My guidance counselor has helped me a great deal throughout my high school years. The principal tends to move around the school a lot, which makes it a bit hard to look for her when you need to. The dress code isn't as enforced as it should be. Students can easily get away with wearing what they want. If they get caught by their teacher, they can easily change when they get to their lockers. Also, even though some students follow the dress code, their clothes can still be inappropriate, which defeats the purpose of dress code, and nobody does anything about it.

On Extracurriculars: There is a wide variety of clubs and organizations in my school. They give us, the students, many opportunities to explore what we like and what we want to pursue in the future. For example, we have an after-school program called E-MAP that helps prepare members of the club for the business world. The Learn and Serve program is a program during school where students go to an elementary school to help the teachers with their students and get experience in elementary classrooms. The clubs in my school such as art club and key club are excellent. Our supervisors are very supportive.

On Overall Experience: There's always a pro and con to almost everything. I love the people I met at this school. Some are not a good influence but I stick with those who will benefit me in the future. I would choose this school again for the good friends I've met here.
