We have had a good experience at Little Elm High School, especially in the College Readiness department. Keisha Brown is absolutely stellar and has been an incredible resource to us as we prepare for college.
Little Elm High School is a decent school overall. Your experience depends on your academic and extracurricular involvement. The more you are involved in, and the higher level you are involved in, determines the quality of your experience. The on-level academics and student culture is of a very low standard. The music and arts programs are welcoming and quite good. I'd like to see a change in the student culture and a push towards more dedication and academic involvement school-wide.
I would like them to instead of spending above fifteen million dollars on a sports facility it should have been spent on other problems in then school. Most of the bathrooms are disgusting or missing something like soap or paper towels. Sure this wouldn't take fifteen million to fix the bathrooms but just a little would help. also the late work rule needs to be changed. If i miss one day of school sure they give you an extra day to fix it but the problem comes when you miss three or more days; they give you an extra three days but you also have to catch up on work from other class and then that days work as well.
