Logos School Reviews
Rating 4.4 out of 5 30 reviews
My experience at Logos has been very positive. I began Logos as a Sophomore and the other students and staff have been very welcoming and supportive. The academics are very rigorous and have a strong Christian, biblical emphasis. The sports and extracurriculars are also challenging but enjoyable. The teachers and administrators clearly care for the good of the students under their care, and are very enjoyable. However, Logos knows how to take things seriously too. It focuses on preparing and equipping its students to be culture shapers under the lordship of Jesus Christ, both mentally and physically. Logos respects and embraces America's laws as well, teaching and applying foundational documents such as the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Logos School has been formative for me as a student, an American, and a Christian.
At Logos School, I have learned more than academic subjects. I have learned how to teach myself. Having spent 4 years in Logos' program, I have been prepared to study foreign languages with or without the assistance of a school. I have learned to organize and articulate my thoughts and ideas, and more importantly how to read the thoughts and ideas of others. Also, at Logos School I have made some of the strongest Christian friends of my entire life.
I have been at Logos School since I was in 5th grade. The culture of the school as a whole is energetic, uplifting, and full of joy. As students, we are trained to live our lives in ways that honor God and reflect our school's motto: "Gratitude, sacrifice, excellence." Every sports team knows that the only way to succeed is to be grateful for what you've been given, be wiling to put your teammates before yourself, and be excellent in all that you do. The same mindset goes for our academic lives as well. Instead of teaching in a way that stuffs facts and knowledge down our throats and forcing us to then regurgitate those facts back, Logos teaches us in a manner that equips us to form our own thoughts and opinions that we can then debate with each other. The culture of Logos has also created a deep friendship with the high school students that is based on mutual pride, hard work, and cheerfulness.
