Rating 4.38 out of 5 109 reviews
Dr. Wright's Lassiter Early College is a high school that offers an unparalleled education experience. Our school is unique in that we graduate with an associate degree in science or math alongside our high school diploma. The small size of our school allows for personalized attention from our teachers and a tight-knit community among our classmates. Additionally, our school is located on a college campus, providing students with an authentic college experience. My time at Dr. Wright's Lassiter Early College has been unforgettable, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-tier education that will prepare them for a successful future. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity - apply now!
My experience in this school has been great because knowing that I came from a regular middle school, my current school enabled me to open myself to more challenges in my academic side. I began to discover new study habits that enabled me to see my improvements and have great teachers who pushed me to do my best in the classes. This school has shown me different strengths such as being organized and having great time management, and teamwork skills.
The environment at Lassiter is like no place else. At Lassiter, everyone knows each other it is located in Downtown Dallas, in El Centro College. As students, we get an amazing chance to graduate with our Associate's degree from Dalla College and our High School Diploma at the same time. The friends you make there will be all the friends you need for the rest of your life. Throughout the years you will take some college classes and high school classes at the same and you will get through it. Just trust the process and don't give up. In my Junior year I had a little setback because History is not my strong suit but as long as I see the teacher, spend some time tutoring, and try my best and don't waste your time everything will be alright. Everyone says Junior year is the hardest but all I would want to see for change is cut some slack for the Juniors. Because the junior year was a little chaotic. Also as a current senior, I wish more college tours were planned for us for all years.
