Norwood School Reviews

We LOVE the Norwood community, as does our child. The culture is very warm, and we love the focus on early childhood education. We really feel like our child is “known” and understood, and that they’re engaging in strong academics.
I think Norwood is also a particularly great school for siblings. While two siblings might not thrive at the same high school or college, it seems like sets of siblings (even if very different in personality) can both do well in the lower and middle school at Norwood. We plan on having our other child apply when they enter kindergarten.

Norwood is an excellent school and community. Our son has grown so much since we joined Norwood. We are very pleased. In short:
- great academics, a child centric approach, wonderful teachers and administration
- a welcoming and caring community
- great partnership between school and parents

Norwood is an amazing place! From the beginning, it was very clear to me that the children at Norwood were happy and excited to be there. Four years later, I can honestly validate that as true. My son is thriving both academically and as a caring young man - both are extremely important in my family! Their integrated curriculum and connection with art is impressive and truly challenges the children's intellectual development. When my son needed extra tutoring, Norwood literally had all the tools to lead him to success. The confidence he now has in his education and within himself has me extremely excited for all that he will accomplish. My family truly appreciates Norwood for being not only a school, but a strong ally of "good" in the community. That said, the 8th graders are impressive!! Your child will thrive here.
