On Teachers: Teachers are willing to devote extra time to all students. Even if the teacher doubles as a coach they are willing to find the time to help any student in need. Most of the teachers have been teaching for years but when you get one that is fresh out of college they really understand how to teach kids and keep them entertained in the lesson. Technology is important to our teachers. Everyone of them has a Promethean board, an Elmo, and all math teachers have a case of graphing calculators.

On Extracurriculars: We have clubs and activities for any one and every one. We even have a guitar class and a rock band class. There are six different band classes, four different choirs, and drama productions. Anyone can tryout or participate. Our school offers Rho Kappa, Science National Honor Society, Latin Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, French Honor Society, and Mu Alpha Theta ( Math Honor Society.) We have volunteer clubs such as Anchor Club (all Girls) and Open Hands Serving. We offer Key Club and FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America.) Our school newspaper Mainstreet Gazette, our school magazine Perspectives, and our Yearbook ZigZag are all student made and designed. Our school is always trying to involve all students.

On Academics: My teachers all have technology that is available for us also, such as graphing calculators, promethean boards, etc. Teachers are willing to come early or stay after school to help students, and if you ask they will even help you during their panning blocks, We have an array of classes so everyone can find what they love. Our science classes get really nice labs from Auburn University that most schools could not afford. We have all kinds of visual arts, music, and even sports so any student can find their niche. The block schedule is a little different but we all enjoy it here. This means our classes are one and half hours long and we have four classes a day. We also have alternating days (Red and Black) so you may not have the same classes you did yesterday today.

On Resources & Facilities: All the facilities are brand new. The school is being totally rebuilt.

On Health & Safety: I have never seen any incidents happen that made me feel that I would not be safe. N
