On Teachers: My teachers in high school were wonderful. I was always very close with them and felt like I could go to any of my teachers with any problems I ever had, whether it was school or life related. However, the actual classes did not prepare me for my life after high school.

On Student Culture & Diversity: There was some diversity in school bu not as much as other schools around. Most people were accepted but with a graduating class of 300 that makes it hard to know everyone. A lot of strong southern beliefs in our town made it difficult for people that went against the southern normal at our school such as sexual orientation and ethic diversity. Student involvement was everything at Pace High.

On Food: School lunch was the worst. Your options were fried chicken and fries, salads that were not very fresh, or just pure junk food such as chips, cookies, and nachos.

On Educational Outcomes: I feel as if Pace High alumni are going to be very average at life even though in high school our school was considered above average. Most alumni go to college but most end up right back in Pace or the Pensacola area. There is nothing wrong with that in my opinion but it seems to be very true.

On Overall Experience: My overall experience at Pace High was amazing. I would not have wanted to go anywhere else in the area. Every school has its downfalls but Pace High was the greatest no matter the downfall. I've never seen a community with more love for a high school then mine. A Friday night football game was not just for the students, it was a town event. Students who excelled were not just recognized at school with other students, it was made known to the community. When a student or students family was in need the whole school came together to help that person and lifted them back up again. Even though I was not very prepared for my future i would not have traded a minute of graduating from Pace High.
