On Health & Safety: I have not seen the police do much besides direct traffic after school and guard the back gate so no one leaves without checking out of school. That being said, maybe their presence is enough. As for the nurse, she'll give you your medicine if your parents dropped it off, but you can't even get an advil or tylenol without having a parent drop it off. So, remind me why we went through all of the paperwork that said we could take this medication again? Itvworks great to regulate medicines, but it is rough when you have a headache.

On Academics: I cannot speak to the regular classes at school, but the AP teachers are fantastic. They are around before and after school to give individual attention and make sure that students understand. Most of them are knowledgable in their subjects and are not only competent in their subjects but good at teaching them. The curriculum is challenging, but I feel prepared when I take exams and now as I approach college. The workload may again be challenging, but it is not unbearable and I feel more prepared to handle the real world having experienced it.

On Sports & Fitness: I was a part of the spirit program at my school and have attended several types of sports activities. The coaches are smart and supportive, the student body that attends the game is spirited, and the facilities are great, especially for a high school. Our teams are top notch, and we generally have success. Our sports programs are competitive. Our other athletic programs are not as serious and suffer slightly. However, most of our programs include some sort of fitness, and whether we are cheering on our athletes by serving as trainers or the half time show, the sports programs bring our student body together.

On Resources & Facilities: The hours for pick-up are are the end of being too early.

On Teachers: The quality of teachers depend on the class. Some are very dedicated to teaching, while others skim by.
