On Extracurriculars: There are a variety of clubs and after school organizations that Skyline offers. I am not familiar with all the clubs, however I know that we have language and tutoring clubs that meet once a week for extra help if you are struggling, from fellow students. We also have a wide variety of hands on clubs, however they require a considerable time commitment to participate in. For instance, the Robotics club meets three days a week for three or so hours per session.

On Health & Safety: At school there are police and teachers that patrol the hallways all the time. They ensure that there is not violence or inappropriate behavior during school. In addition, the teachers are very helpful. They are willing to let you stay after school to explain something, or allow you to finish in class work, and whenever you stay, there has to be a teacher or adult with you to supervise and ensure your safety. At the school, the students feel safe, and I have never heard of physical violence or gang activity, however I have heard of drug parties outside of school among the students.

On Administration & Policies: Our leadership class is very good about keeping people from bullying. Our dress code is sometimes strict and sometimes isn't, I think it depends on the kind of day our staff members are having. Over all they don't really mind. The guidance counselors do a wonderful job and are very sweet and comforting.

On Academics: Skyline does not have a very large selection on classes, we only have the basics such as music classes, art, physical education, english, social studies, science and math. I wish we would of had unique classes such as photography and woodshop.

On Teachers: Every teacher is really different so you never really know what you are going to get. Most either expect way little or way too much, rarely did I get a teacher that was in the happy medium. In order to do well I think you just have to get to know your teacher and understand their teaching style and you will do fine. The quality of teachers is low, some are awesome but a lot are pretty bad and should have retired a long time ago! You can tell who has lost their patience all together.
