TNS has been a great place for our kids to learn and grow. They've received an education that is every bit as good as anywhere else they could have gone — and in many ways far better. The teachers genuinely care, AND they have the time, energy, and ability to show it in ways that, unfortunately, many public school teachers (though they would like to) simply can't. My kids are deeply and personally known and cared for each and every day. And you can tell it's true because they always beg to stay as long as possible. They love being on campus (which is really pretty, by the way) soaking up the environment and having fun. They are accepted for who they are; they feel safe; they feel loved; and they often benefit from very personalized teaching and unbelievable teacher availability. It's a great community, and we feel tremendously blessed to be a part of it. Honestly, we wouldn't have thought we could afford "private" school, but with financial aid, it was very doable. TNS is the best!
The New School is a very welcoming environment. My son attends the daycare and he loves it. His teachers go out of their way to communicate with me and everyone is so happy to see him every morning.
The Lower School, Middle School and Upper School are working hard to improve every year and be everything they need to be for every student. It has been an amazing experience so far, and we feel so very loved, appreciated, and cared for!

The New School is well equipped when it comes to program organization, culture and courses offered. It provides students with vast facilities to be able to accomplish their goals within their courses, pathway desire and further unto opportunities once an alumni. The only factor I can comment to want to see a change in is their administration as part of another faculty you work with closely in your classes. As a student you can received and feel very supported by your faculty, most are very empathic with each student different life situation. In comparison to this, the administrative side of the school could benefit from said characteristic to help the student feel supported, that they work with you, towards your success and not against you.
