The best part about Tremper High School is the staff all of the people I met were amazing and did actually take interests in your learning and growth. They all care about you as a person and what's going on outside of school. Even the lunch workers to the principal all cared for it's students. It was an amazing community. The worst part was the school spirt. The sports games never had packed stands it it's something the school lacks. It might have been during covid were it faded out, but its slowly getting better. It is something that lacked and I think school spirt is a huge importance in overall school community.
I know that I might be outside of the norm, but I had a great relationship with this school. Everyone tries their hardest to help you succeed, but not everyone takes the opportunities that are being given.
My experience at Tremper High School was quite unique. Being a teacher's daughter gave me a unique perspective on the dynamic of the school, and allowed me to see multiple perspectives of how the school functioned. My identity as a teacher's daughter was perhaps both the best and worst part of my experiences. At times it was isolating, and challenging to prove yourself when other students believed that you received special treatment. Other times, it was a unique way to connect my outside everyday life to my education.
