On Health & Safety: Personally, I've never felt my safety violated in any significant way. Proctors are always around. Fights occur sometimes, but one can choose to stay away from them, and they are usually broken up quickly. Other threats are usually deterred quickly, as well (sometimes I find out about potentially threatening occurrences after they have already been averted). I have never been to the nurse, so I cannot comment on how smoothly the health office runs.

On Extracurriculars: There is a diverse range of clubs. Some clubs are large and well-organized, and others are small and more informal. Many of the larger clubs involve themselves in charity, which is good. Teachers are generally supportive of clubs.

On Sports & Fitness: Our sports teams tend to be strong and competitive. There is good turnout for football games; I'm not sure about the turnout for other sports. Much of the school's funds go into athletics. I think funds should be more evenly distributed.

On Resources & Facilities: The classrooms and buildings are generally in good shape. Installed technology usually runs smoothly. The laptops available for student use in each classroom are slow, however, and there are often problems with them. The computers in the library are pretty good.

On Academics: Overall, the math department seems very weak. Though I have gotten very good math teachers, I hear many others complain about inadequate math teachers. The computer science program just began, and the teacher does not himself know how to teach the subject. In the foreign language department, the French department seems to be stronger than the Spanish department. The two French teachers are good and focused. I hear many complain about their Spanish teachers failing to provide learning of significant quality. The school offers many AP and Honors courses. Many of the AP classes tend to waste a lot of time, but perhaps the teachers figure that the students are more apt to absorb the material on their own. Workload depends on the class in question.
