Villa Park High, the experience this school provided me was really fun. The school activities and student body life is very fun and the experiences that the student bodies, such as the sports and ASB provide lots of fun to students. Not only that, the academics and teachers that I had gave me the opportunity to grow as a person, and are really connective with students and actually care. The best parts of my experience at school is how my Track & Field career, dealt with lots of emotions and changes, if I hadn't taken the opportunity to take on a sport I would have missed out on an opportunity of self growth. Villa Park's Track & Field team gave me the ability to believe in myself and be more determined to achieve my goals not only on the track but also the classroom. But, highschool always have bad parts, some of the worst parts of this school is how sometimes you can feel left out. But it allows you to be intrigued to try new things and experiment.
I love my school. For me football games, theatre and athletic training are what I have enjoyed the most. Our school is currently under construction which is frustrating at times. I am glad we are getting improvements since our facilities are terribly out of date, it is just unfortunate that we will not to see that many of them. I wish the improvements could have happened before I was a student.
My experience at Villa Park has been okay. Many of my teachers have been good, I had a few bad ones. Overall the school is nice. I would like to see the walkways repaved, it would make getting around classes easier. I would also like it to be better accessible for handicapped.
