On Teachers: The teachers are amazing. Of course, there are exceptions, but they are few and far between, and really it depends on student. Some teachers click better with some students than with others. They are very available to help students and are always happy to help. Many teachers provide ways to use the information we learned in classes and apply it. There are various field trips and guest speakers. Most grading is standard, but teachers are able to adapt their own grading procedure within certain limits. It allows teachers to experiment with different ways to help students learn the best.

On Extracurriculars: There are many activities to choose from. For the most part, you can choose how much you want to put into an activity. If you want a leadership position, you can easily apply. If you want to just participate, you can do that easily, too. Some activities, such as music or drama, require more participation. Most staff members assist with groups, and some do for more than one. There are volunteer clubs, competitive clubs, drama clubs, art club, Spanish and French club, book clubs, various musical ensembles, and science clubs.

On Health & Safety: I have heard or experienced very few things that threaten safety. Part of it could be the friends I have. I would not doubt that there are things going on in other people's lives that I am not aware of. The community is also safe. Someone saw a suspicious-looking person enter the building and called the police. They investigated the issue and determined that there was no threat. Even though nothing came of the situation, it is comforting that the community values the safety of the schools and that the police are able to respond so quickly and thoroughly. We have a police officer that works with the school.

On Sports & Fitness: We have wonderful sports facilities. Many students to participate in sports and have great success. One reason they continue with the sport(s) is because of the coaches. The coaches are enjoyable and knowledgeable, and there's always a level for how much students want to put in and get out of the sport. The school spirit is what lowers the rating. Usually people attend sporting events if they have friends who are playing. Then it appears to be a social event instead of cheering event.

On Administration & Policies: The principle is always there at lunch saying hi to students. I love it. Bullying is not allowed. At all. This year, they added a new dress code about not wearing shirts without sleeves except in physical education classes. Like the cell phone rule, the enforcement depends on the staff. Some uphold it and some don't care.
