I've attended Winlock Senior High School since my sophomore year and I can say with confidence that the community is truly what makes it worthwhile. All of my teachers and classmates did and continue to do an excellent job of making me and the other members of the community feel welcomed. I also have received opportunities at Winlock that were not previously available to me, such as the option to take both AP and college in the high school courses. These classes have assisted me greatly in the college application process and have made the entire experience much easier. I have made many friends since coming to Winlock, and I get along with my teachers wonderfully as well. It is very apparent how much they care for each students and will do their utmost to ensure that every student is on the right path.
I love the community, and I have made more long-lasting friendships here than at any school. During the pandemic we had a bit of a struggle, but the teachers are mostly amazing. They are accommodating to alternative schedules, and they allowed me to do my college work on-campus.
The experience here is awesome. I would recommend you to join this school. The teachers here are nice.
