On Academics: There are a variety of classes and courses offered at Wren. With these courses are very encouraging and devoted teachers who reach out to you on an academic level as well as make themselves available outside of classroom hours in order for you to understand their curriculum. The guidance councelors also are VERY helpful in your search for colleges and courses. There are multiple honors and AP classes offered so that the student can achieve and reach the highest level of education they are capable of.

On Administration & Policies: Not many students are assigned ISS or OSS, however many students are asked to cover up or sent home because of their shorts being too short, shirt not having wide enough straps, or wearing leggings. Every teacher, no matter how nice, will crack down on dress code and report you to the office if they think you break code. That is basically the only rule that teachers are very adamant about.

On Extracurriculars: We offer most sports a school would offer, however excluding lacross and swimming. Besides the athletic extracurricular programs, Wren offers many service and honors programs such as Service Learning, National Honors Society, Beta Club, etc. There are also very unique clubs at the school such as the Celtic Club, outdoor club, and sailing club, ROTC, and many more. Between the many sports and clubs offered, Wren is very involved in trying to include all types of students.

On Sports & Fitness: The athletes at Wren are very dedicated to their sport and many have been recruited to mulitple college teams. There is a very supportive student section as well as supportive parent section. There are multiple spirit weeks throughout the year to encourage more spirit, which motivates students to come out and watch games. Overall I am very pleased with how supportive our school is and when it comes to sports, we unite as a body to cheer and defeat rival schools.

On Health & Safety: I have occasionally witnessed fights but overall feel very safe and surrounded by encouraging teachers. Wren High School is a relatively old school which results in not the cleanest bathrooms, but otherwise has a very clean feel with a new freshman academy and updated technology. We have a school security system and are required to wear ID's and buzz into the front office in order to be let into the school. There are always faculity and staff looking over the students, which makes for a safe and trustworthy environment!
