Health & Safety: From my experience, the school is generally safe. Police officers and security checks can be seen around the school at varying times, and while there is an occasional "incident", it's rare.

Extracurriculars: If the opportunities are taken advantage of, there is a lot to do in this school. I've personally been to many of the clubs, and outsiders will find that the communities are tightly knit, yet willing to take in newcomers. School can be lonely, but the commitment of these groups of students is fun and liberating from the typical school life. Very fun.

Overall Experience: "The Anoka Family" is often repeated as the anthem of this school, and it's no joke. I've found a family here at this school through the clubs I've attended and events I've been to. There are many memories I've made from this school that I wouldn't take back for anything.

Teachers: The teachers here are generally very interested in how students do academically. After-school remedial opportunities are always available to students, with two days of the week dedicated to helping students with studying and classwork. Good place.

Teachers: I am currently enrolled at Anoka Ramsey community college for nursing and I absolutely loved what the Anoka high school staff did for me to get me where I am at today. Emily bested, who is the medical terminology teacher really shaped me into becoming what I always wanted to become. Also, the principle really encouraged and inspired me to keep pushing along and do great things in life and because of him, I already am becoming something so much greater.
