Overall Experience: Some teachers are just terrible, some are okay. Some are great. A lot of kids just don't care and seem to get in the way of those who do, it's always annoying.

Overall Experience: Apex High School has challenging, competitive academics to offer their students. However, the atheistic appeal of the school is largely lacking. There are issues with sanitation and pests ; spiders coming down from the ceiling, a possum hiding under the trailers, flooding of the pods and an infestation cockroaches. The buildings were built in the 1970's, are outdated and falling apart. The school is planning to renovate in the summer of 2016, and this would greatly impact many students feelings towards Apex High. Overall, this is a supportive environment that needs serious work to the physical appearance.

Educational Outcomes: Although I am not quite done with high school, I feel relatively prepared for the real world. Now that I am eighteen, my parents have let me start to do adult things on my own (i.e. manage money, taxes, etc.). I was slightly nervous in the beginning but now I have no stress doing things on my own. Also, my school was very helpful in helping me decide what to do after graduation. The guidance staff helped me realize that my passion in life is healthcare and I plan to major in nursing at UNCW in the fall.
