Food: The cafeteria could offer better, healthier food options- ones students would actually enjoy. I didn't understand the system so I always brought lunch from home or bought off the food carts- which would run out of the products students would want to buy sometimes. It is also a bit expensive, as in I couldn't choose to eat at the food cart everyday, and when I did, I didn't have enough money to get a full lunch (honestly, it should cost less than $10).

Administration & Policies: I don't know that much about it, but I do think the system could be better as far as the administration and its policies. Some policies most students believe to be unfair, such as the ones that link school practices to a suspended driver's license.

Sports & Fitness: The athletics and fitness opportunities at this school are great; a lot of the facilities are very nice, with a few exceptions. The track and away side of the bleachers could stand to be updated; other than that, it's pretty great. Student involvement is great, though there could be more advertisement since I remember lots of confusion over try-out dates and times for most athletics.

Teachers: There are a lot of great teachers at AGHS, which I had the privilege of being a student of. The teachers are very helpful and funny and give the right amount of work, depending on the academic level of their students. They genuinely enjoy teaching and participating in school events, such as assemblies, which are optional and voluntary.

Extracurriculars: The extracurricular opportunities at Arroyo Grande High School are various and many. There are plenty of sports to participate in, as well as a generous amount of clubs. These include the large, country-wide organization of FFA, Key Club, and student leadership (ASB). There is also the Drama department and band.
