Athens Drive High School Reviews
Rating 3.65 out of 5 366 reviews
Athens Drive Magnet High School has great opportunities for both healthcare and STEM fields, due to the health science and STEM academies. The teachers are understanding and fair, and there is a lot of opportunities for student growth.
The best parts of Athens are the opportunities I have received. There are many different classes to choose from. Like Marine Biology or Forensics, it really gives you a chance to see what you would like to do in the future. The diversity of Athens is also top tier. There are all kinds of people that go to that school, and they open your mind to new perspectives. The worst part about Athens is the facilities. It is an old school. It confusing to get around and the bathrooms are subpar. Sinks are constantly clogged and hallways are tight.
Overall, my experience at Athens has been memorable and helpful. I enjoy the sports and extracurriculars available to me. I’ve met amazing people and have learned to work with my peers. I have been able to explore my passion in subjects. Although the art department could definitely be pushed and improved, I am forever grateful for all that was provided for me. I would improve administration and the relationships between counselors and students.
