Raisbeck Aviation High School Reviews
Rating 4.05 out of 5 171 reviews
Raisbeck Aviation High School offers a unique educational experience centered around aviation and aerospace. The best part of my time here has been the hands-on learning opportunities, from great clubs to engineering projects, which have ignited my passion for learning. However, the workload can be intense, and the pressure to excel can sometimes feel overwhelming. I appreciate the supportive community of peers and teachers, but I believe there could be more emphasis on mental health and work-life balance. Overall, I hope to see continued growth in providing resources for student well-being while maintaining the school's focus on innovation in aerospace education.
Throughout my time at Raisbeck Aviation High School, my focus within the school has been on academics. The school is praised for its rigorous academic curriculum, providing me with a strong foundation in engineering fields. The school also has an amazing atmosphere full of diversity and acceptance allowing me to even further my academics. This has allowed me to grow into the person I am today. However, a significant drawback to my overall experience at this school has been the limited emphasis on athletics and sports. As someone who has always had a passion for soccer, I was genuinely disappointed to find that our school did not offer any sports programs, with the only option being frisbee, a somewhat uninteresting sport. While the academic aspect thrives, the absence of a comprehensive sports program has been a notable gap in my high school experience.
I think the school is very diverse and special in it's own ways. Although no school is perfect, I still was able to find my place here and build my future goals. Throughout high school I really found myself and became a lot more confident in who I want to be.
