Overall Experience: The students here are amazing people. They manage to put aside their differences and come together as a united body, especially when the situation calls for it. The students here are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. It's the students that make the school as amazing as it is.

Overall Experience: It was high school, it's not meant to be a wonderful experience. With that being said, I think Batavia did a good job offering a lot of AP classes and overall quality education that has paid off in college. There were some teachers that I really did not like, but I had a good relationship with most of my teachers. The good teachers made everything worthwhile for me, I kept in contact with them all through high school and they wrote me great letters of recommendation. Interact allowed me to go to the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, which was one of my favorite memories of high school. The principal is nice but the assistant principals and deans tend to have a bit of a chip on their shoulders. I wish that Batavia would hire more counselors because there was a 300:1 ratio between counselors and students so it was difficult to feel prepared an guided for college. Overall it was a decent school that I would attend again if, God forbid, I had to go back to high school.

Overall Experience: Taxes are high and school pushes for money for items not really needed like a turf football field. Football is given highest priority over other sports. This after millions on school additions. Then later to return to public for the staffing money. Union has strong hold on their money and benefits.

Honor teacher are not always the best. Some never really teach and assume since it honors the student should be able to find answers....need to held accountable.
