Overall Experience: Attending Batavia High School has been a pleasure throughout my freshman to my junior year so far. I've been lucky enough to have had some of the best teachers in the school throughout these years, but also some of the worst. Every school has their worst and best teachers, but the only thing about the bad teachers here is that they're awful. The homework load was always extremely overwhelming and ridiculous, given the content that we learned in class that day. Some days it never applied, and other days it was extra work given to us because the teacher couldn't finish teaching it in class. On another note, our school spirit is absolutely awesome. That is something that I will forever miss when I graduate, and that is something that I will forever search for during my college searches.

Food: You know as far as cafeteria food goes, it's not the worst. Our school really tries to promote healthy food so there are a ton of healthy options. There are still unhealthy options but they are two times as expensive. They do have a great variety at a low cost.

Administration & Policies: I do question the administrations decisions more than I should. They make some interesting decisions about teachers and new Chromebooks.

Teachers: It's hard to generalize all the teachers into one category. You always have the ones who are amazing and that everyone loves and really help the kids learn. But on the other hand, you have the teachers who know their stuff, but can't teach it at all. For the most part I think our teachers really try hard to help the students out, but I have had my fair share of terrible teachers.

Sports & Fitness: Sports get the most money at our school so everything is pretty top notch. There are lots of students that participate in sports in our school. School spirit is really high - you should see the pep assemblies.
