When I first arrived at Bellbrook High School as a freshman, I was so worried about how I would fit in. Whether I was going to find friends, build connections with my teachers, and excel academically. All of that worry had went away when I realized how much love and support I had gotten from this high school and staff. Joining extra curricular activities at Bellbrook High School was extremely easy and encouraged. I was a softball player for about 10 years before I had joined the high school team. Not only were my coaches kind, they were always motivating you to be the best possible version of yourself both on and off the field. I had played the oboe in school band for 4 years before joining the Wind Ensemble in high school. I was constantly challenged with eccentric and difficult pieces. Being performance ready was mandatory even weeks before a concert date. I have learned so many amazing qualities about myself that I did not realize I had. And that was all thanks to Bellbrook High.
Overall, I have had a really good experience at Bellbrook. I feel like I've grown up in this school even though I only moved here when I was 10. The staff is great. The food is good, facilities are super clean and well kept. So thankful for my experience here!
I love how some teachers are very involved in our teaching, but that is only some. You either get a great teacher or a horrible one at Bellbrook. I would love to see more serious evaluations of teachers to provide better learning to us highschoolers.
