Overall Experience: One of my favorite organizations about Bowie HS is my tennis team; the team is like one big family, all the parents are involved and come to support us, and the coach will go many extra steps to help all his players achieve anything they want. Another organization that I love is Class Officers of 2016; we work together all year to receive money for our class and I really grew close to a lot of people from working closely with them for many events and the teacher sponsor cares so much about all of us and aids us in any way possible.

What makes Bowie unique is that all the teachers have so much respect and love for their students and all the students have many opportunities to join different clubs and organizations to meet new people, so I would choose Bowie as my high school all over again if I were to make the choice another time.

Overall Experience: Bowie is a great school that because it has been around so long has established programs students can benefit from. Like the abundance of AP classes and the college and career center which helps students get ready for whatever their next move is after high school. Those types of things take time to build and bowie certainly has. However its age has not been kept up with too well and the actually building could use a major renovation.

Administration & Policies: They definitely enforce detention and in/out of school suspension depending on the issue committed. There was only instance I witnessed at this school where there was unfair punishment.

Student Culture & Diversity: Bulldawgs and hot dogs is one of the best events here. The pep rallies are also a lot of fun because you get to see the school come together and show off school spirit.

Health & Safety: One thing I like about this school is how safe it is. Of course - like most situations - safety could be improved.
