This school prepared me for college academically but that's about all I got out of it. There are some great teachers that genuinely care about you but a lot of the policies are discriminatory. Their main focus is on Athletic Program. The athletes (specifically the more talented ones) get preferential treatment when it comes to discipline and academic leniency. For a christian school that promises to love, nurture and provide spiritual growth, I saw a lot of hypocrisy, unchristian like policies, and it actually hindered my spiritual growth. If I had to do it over I would not attend BA and would've saved my parents a LOT of money.

It's hard to get integrated unless you start out in the middle school. Most people are welcoming and friendly, but a few are just rude and exclusive.

The teachers are very generous with the time they invest in their students outside of school. I don't know many students from other schools that can say they've been to as many teachers houses as I have. My advisor saw that my math grade wasn't the best so she invited me over to her house for tea and help studying. I also have gotten lunch with multiple teachers just to gain some wisdom. They are some of the sweetest most genuine people.
