Brentwood High School Reviews
Rating 4.01 out of 5 364 reviews
Through Brentwood high, I feel like I am very prepared for college. The courses were always hard, challenging, but doable if you put the work in. I loved being able to play sports, hockey and lacrosse. I felt like they were always fun, and made me feel proud to be representing the school. The teachers were usually great, and I loved participating in orchestra as well. Overall, I believe that Brentwood High prepared me great for my future in college and life.
Brentwood high school is an academically challenging school, but exceeds in preparing students for college. The faculty and staff work extremely hard, as well as the students, and as a result increase the overall tenor of the environment. The sports and involvement in clubs and activities goes above and beyond; there are ample ways to get plugged into a community and participate in the school culture. Some improvement I wish to see would be more diversity and inclusion. Of course high school is infamous for the “high school cliques” and “high school hierarchy” but my wish for future students would be to break those stereotypes and increase a culture of friendliness and inclusion.
BEST ATTRIBUTES-
-The Choir program is incredible! I’ve been so blessed to be a part of such a wonderful community.
-College readiness resources are readily available to students in every grade. I have been to several seminars and received a great amount of information.
-Student life is fun and diverse.
WORST ATTRIBUTES-
-Some teachers are very difficult to get a hold of, which makes finishing coursework difficult.
-Bathrooms by the Fine Arts classrooms are blocked off completely.
-Very competitive academically, which makes students feel less accomplished. I have a 4.0 GPA yet I rank in the bottom half of this year’s graduating class.
