Extracurriculars: There are few students I know personally that participate in clubs. The most notable clubs, organizations, and other activities include: Science Olympiad, Chess Club, Key Club, HOSA, DECA, National Honor Society, and Robotics. The robotics team has one many awards in the life time of the club. Science Olympiad just started within our school, so they have yet to win any major awards. The Chess Club is popular, but is more about relaxing and having fun, rather than winning competitions. Some organizations such as HOSA, DECA, National Honor Society, and the Key Club all require community service hours in order to stay a member. BrewTech also has a popular sports division, with many wins for each sport.

Admissions: Most student of this school did not have to apply since Floyd Middle Magnet School feeds directly into BrewTech. However, those who did not attend this middle school have to have good grades and a minimum of a 3.0 GPA in order to be accepted into our school. There are very few spots left to be taken after the students from the feeder school is accounted for, so if you did not attend Floyd you would have a harder time getting in.

Overall Experience: i loved this high school. i made tons of friends there. it was a magnet school so generally the students were smart, even if they didn't realize it at the time. going to this school saved my parents money and me from going to a regular public schol which are very bad in the school system

Administration & Policies: dress code sucks, and often students could easily avoid it. bullying is rare at the school. attendance was mediocre, but skipping class altogether was very frowned upon and often lead to punishment.
