Overall Experience: I believe this school prepared be well for college. Throughout all the hard work and massive amounts of homework daily, I learned to work hard. Another high school may not have prepared me for the future as well as Brooklyn Tech. I'm not sure whether I would do it again. I met great people and friends but it was very overwhelming.

Food: I personally do not eat lunch my school's lunch because I prefer to bring my own. The lunch menu changes daily so one day you may have pizza and another day a sandwich. There are usually two or three options to choose from in a day including fruit and salad on most days.

Sports & Fitness: Athletics in this school are great. There are many different types of sports here such as swimming, lacrosse, basketball, football, volleyball and probably a bunch of others that I don't even know of. Many students participate on these teams. I am not on a team but I have attended many home games for basketball and lacrosse. It is a great environment for sports, not only to participate but to watch and support.

Teachers: Most teachers in this school are very knowledgeable and intelligent but there are several teachers to specifically said that they can't get fired so it is our word against his. I've had amazing and terrible teachers who have all used different styles of teaching. Many use technology and Smart-boards but others still prefer black boards. Most teachers are fair in their grading system and you get the grades you deserve but I've had 2 teachers who I believe did not care about the students and barely knew our names.

Extracurriculars: Brooklyn Technical High School provides many clubs, some of which I have participated in. Some clubs are Pencils of Promise Fund-raising Club, Comedy Club, Student Government, National Honor Society, and Red Cross. In order to receive a Brooklyn Tech diploma, students must participate in several clubs until they reach a total of 32 credits. Each club is either eight, twelve, or sixteen credits per semester.
