The administration here is always on top of their stuff. Sudents here are taught to make sure that they are preparing themselves for school now and even for college. We have a couple of rules put into play , like SLANT and ROCK SOLID that the students are expected to follow. The administration has been on our butts about making sure that we are prepared. And to keep us in line, the staff has come up with red and yellow cards as a warning for students behaviors. The staff here is always ready to help, and Mr. Bishop, our principal goes with the students everywhere to make sure that we represent Caprock well. I always appreciate that he travels to our extracurricular activities and makes sure that we our safe. All our our staff is simply amazing, even the janitorial staff. I would'nt take them for granted.

The teachers here are very caring, they like to make sure were getting our work inside and outside of school done. The school i come from isn't in the best side of town and a lot of the kids here struggle, some are self-supporting and still manage to come to school. With the teachers we have, they understand our problems so they help us the way they know how to and that's to pass knowledge down. They give us hope for most of our dreams by helping us get to where we want. On the other hand, the teachers are in control of whats going on. Every one of the teachers is required to keep us actively involved, and they do by calling on random students and asking questions about the topic at what might seem random times. The Majority of the time at school i am working on papers, or involved in the class discussion of topics we are going over.

Being at this school opens alot of opportunities for students to be involved in extracurricular activities, if they would like to of course. Some of the programs that Caprock offer are sports, like volleyball, basketball and track, and also things like ROTC, chess club and ASL. The reason I gave my school only four out of five, is due to the fact that the students aren't as commited to their extra things as they should be. Although all of the things I have participated in are very fun, other people neglect the opportunity and take advantage of whatever they are in. The staff at this school is really helpful, and they do the best they can to teach us and help us along the way.
