Overall Experience: I have never had any problem with CP. The environment is welcoming and it's easy to find your place. It's a pretty big school, so there are many people in my grade that I have never met. I don't consider that a problem at all. If you choose to take all upper level and honors classes, you will have little to no interaction with the students in the regular courses. I believe that has benefited me in the long run, because I have never been in class with the slackers and drug dealers. I am always surrounded by other students who care about their education, and we have a great time together. The teachers I have had in my classes are great people and know how to make classes fun and engaging. The courses are challenging but manageable, and prepare you well for AP and IB exams. Now it's not perfect... there are the occasional fights in the halls, and the smell of vape or weed in the bathroom can be annoying. But overall I have never felt unsafe at school, or wish I went somewhere else. In general, the students here are pretty decent. We have great school pride, and the student section will get very passionate at the different sports events. I have enjoyed my time here. I know that I will miss it when I graduate.

Teachers: I love the teachers at CP. They are my favorite part of coming to school. I have become close to several of my past teachers, and they will still ask me about how I'm doing and are always there for me if I need help. In class, they know how to make lessons light and enjoyable, many classes leave me laughing, no matter the subject. Every teacher I have had in my time at CP has been knowledgeable and caring. I'm not afraid to ask questions in class. They will always try their best to help you succeed. All you have to do is try and they will like you.

Extracurriculars: I don't know much about them as our student did not participate except for sports

Teachers: There are some really great teachers that go above and beyond, the problem in our district is that there are also teachers that are tenured and close to retiring and they don't really have the energy or care what happens in the classroom, which means the kids are not getting the education they could because the teachers are just counting days to retirement and there are no consequences when kids do not succeed in their class.

Health & Safety: The diverse demographics at this school contributes to gangs and fighting.
