Overall Experience: The school's purpose is college prep, and it does that extremely well. I felt extremely well prepared for college even though I skipped some introductory classes. I'm currently a second year and still find a lot of topics a review. The teachers at Charter can be a hit or miss, but I believe generally the teachers are good. The students though are fantastic and frequently explore outside the textbooks, if you make friends you are bound to learn a lot from your peers and might even venture into new topics on your own. Although the intellect of your peers may be intimidating, it is definitely a good experience and humbling.

Overall Experience: The school is very academically challenging, and offers one of the best educations you can get in Delaware; however, the administration is excessively bureaucratic, the workload is horrendous, and the student culture is entitled and know-it-all. That being said, the school has excellent extracurriculars, nice technological resources, and varied academics.

Overall Experience: The educational curriculum in the Charter School of Wilmington outclasses other schools in Delaware by far. However, as hyped up as the CSW is, most of the renown and reputation come from the students, not the teachers.

Overall Experience: The mission of the Charter School of Wilmington is to engage highly motivated high school students with an interest in math and science by providing a challenging curriculum that sets high expectations. Sometimes those expectations are too high and it feels like you're drowning, but you always make it through with the help of teachers, parents and friends.

Overall Experience: CSW offers and excellent academic program for student. It prepares students for college both academically and socially. The majority of the teachers are very good at instructing the students. However, there are exceptions and the school needs a more diverse teaching staff. We appreciate the safe environment CSW provides and that the majority of parent concerns are addressed in a timely fashion.
