Health & Safety: As long as you make smart decisions, you shouldn't have a safety issue. Best to avoid the school restrooms as they often lack toilet paper, soap, and locks on the stalls though.

Food: I love the self-serve lines, but the food tastes awful. The pizza crust is often soggy. I'm not sure how they do it.

Administration & Policies: While the guidance counselors are helpful, they're extremely overburdened.

Teachers: The teachers at this school are BY FAR the best I've ever had. They are very good at what they teach- my chemistry teacher used to actually work in the field- and actually seem to enjoy their subject and teaching it. Teacher respect for students is excellent. My only complaint is that some teachers put almost no grades in the gradebook per quarter, so one bad grade can drastically affect my average. Additionally some teachers seem to have no concept of what represents a reasonable workload.

Extracurriculars: There are three major groups that I'm familiar with- honors orchestra, robotics, and this other club whose name I can't remember, but is by far the most popular. They basically build awareness about issues affecting undocumented students. Our robotics team has won a lot of competitions, and I'm a member of the honors orchestra, which plays a variety of classical and popular music at a much higher difficulty level than that of the normal classes.
