This is a wonderful school with engaging lessons and caring teachers. You can go to a teacher with a problem and they will do anything to help resolve the issue in a Godly way. The lessons are always engaging through videos, activities, or quiz games like quizlet or kahoot. The school has also recently added members to their security team that roams around campus. You will feel very safe at this school!
The best thing about CCS high school is the leadership program. I love that the kids are being prepared to handle life's uncertainty with grace, courage, and confidence. One thing that I wish would change is the lack of clubs or organizations that the kids can participate in and actually take ownership of, for example the yearbook committee - the students weren't allowed to be creative without the staff sponsor completely redoing what the kids had done. Now, there isn't a student based yearbook committee. Also, communication among the teachers, especially the 11th grade year, could be better. This lack impacts the students.
Very excellent educational system. Teachers are willing to take time out of their day after school to help a student. Great security. Staff will make sure a student gets home safely.
