The only saving grace for this school for me is the art and english programs. These classes are fun, engaging, and educational. Although, there is usually unnecessary IB work requirements for both of these classes. Not to mention, you go through 4 years now of IB training and only around 20% of the students in the class revive the IB diploma. The rest of the class do not receive credits for college, acknowledgment, nothing besides the ability to write a decent essay in a small period of time. This school is only unique in how ridiculous the rules and requirements are in it. The principal and most of the staff have no respect for students and their space what so ever. The rules are unnecessary and should belong in an elementary school rather than the "number 1 high school in America". I would never go to this school again; in fact, I would pay to not have to.

One of the best parts of CIBA is the rigorous program. It is not only very challenging, but it helps students grow and develop their weaknesses and enhance their strengths even further. The teachers are all extremely passionate about what they are teaching, and will go above and beyond to create interesting lessons and engage all students in the material so that everything is completely comprehensive. Another great experience I've had is with the Micheal Abelon Memorial Foundation, a committee created to commemorate the founding principal of CIBA, who passed away- and raise money for finding a cure to pancreatic cancer.

I actually enjoy going to this school because of the type of environment that there is, but there is so much homework all of the time, but at the end of the day I do the work to get to my future.
