Extracurriculars: There are a lot of groups, but commitment is minimal. I think that if there was more community involvement, the clubs and organizations would excel more. However, some of the groups do excel more than others. Most of this depends solely on the teacher or coordinator in charge.

Overall Experience: I would definitely choose this school again solely because it is a good environment, if you make it so. I think what would really make me choose the school again is the people in my class and in previous classes to graduate before us. Some teachers really made me want to learn, but they had little impact on my overall experience.

Teachers: Some teachers are better at their job than others. There are a lot of teachers who genuinely care about the student population, but then there are some teachers who don't seem to care enough. I think a lot of the issues with the faculty stems from the administration and the lack of influence that they have. Also, the funding and pay is definitely an issue within our school system.

Health & Safety: I feel safe in school, we have locked doors during the school day, that without a faculty ID you cannot open the door without going through the main office where they have to buzz you in. Everyone that is not a student of faculty has to sign in. While we do not have security officers around the school I do not believe it is needed as it is a small school with virtually not security problems.

Extracurriculars: At middle school level, we had to pick clubs so getting involved in high school was easy. They have lots of different clubs and programs, and all of them work towards benefiting the students weather it be wellness club, students against destructive decisions, or GSA. All of our clubs bring together our school and they get to do lots of things with their clubs like make floats for homecoming, go on field trips, sell things at our craft fair, participate in day of silence, ect. It is a very involved school.
