Health & Safety: There are many security officers at the school during school hours. Students and faculty go through drills for certain codes each month. The school provides $1 physicals for students interested in trying out for sports. The nurse is at the school on call. Bullying is rare at the school, and is handled very seriously. The school is a very good school due to the fact that they do random sweeps that include classrooms and cars to ensure that there are no weapons or drugs on campus. The health requirements are outstanding for the students.

Overall Experience: I was in N.J.R.O.T.C. I went all over the state and country on drill meets and orientation trips. I also went on E.I.P. trips to

colleges all around. They allowed my Mother to come with me on the trips. I would go back to cross creek high school. The school opened me up to many opportunities and made many things possible for me. Even though i am graduated, the counselors and N.J.R.O.T.C. instructors still help me to this day.

Teachers: I have mirror image dyslexia. The teachers at cross creek helped me out with my special needs to all levels. By providing reading tools like dictionaries, extra study time, tutoring, and help with any subject I was struggling in, they helped me pass my classes. The teachers are well educated in their field of teaching. Some of the teachers are college professors. They also get to know their students well. How the students home life is,and what kind of learning technique the students use. Some teachers will even email the assignments you have missed, they will also text you if you need help with homework. The teachers up date grades just about every day to let you see what you made. so you can keep up with you grade point average.

Overall Experience: What makes my school unique is by the way everyone bonds together with the teachers. Everyone most likely has a teacher they can go to for help and support when they really need it. We might not have that many pep rallies but when we do they are great and we see how much fun we can have together as ordinary people who can achieve so much.
