Crown Point High School Reviews
Rating 3.99 out of 5 475 reviews
My experience with Crown Point High School mainly lies in its academics, teachers, and versatility. As someone who has an intense curious nature and eagerness to understand things, my teachers made me feel comfortable with asking questions. While I was fortunate enough to have amazing teachers all throughout my high school experience, some were not. I am not here to talk bad on anyone’s name however, so I will leave it at that. Crown Point’s curriculum and variety of subjects is also amazing. There spreads a wide variety in each subject such as mathematics offering algebra, statistics, calculus, finite, trigonometry, and more. Science offering chemistry, biology, anatomy, forensics, physics, and more. However, one thing I wish Crown Point offered more of is language classes. Perhaps they could include Asian languages and incorporate sign language as a class rather than an after school club. Ultimately, Crown Point is an exceptional school and I am happy with my experience there.
I am a senior who was born with cerebral palsy. Throughout my schooling, the Crown Point School Corp has been very accommodating to my disability. Yes, I know that with the disability act, it is a must, but the students and the teachers go above and beyond what is within the guidelines. I will forever be grateful to all the staff at CPHS for their efforts to assist me with my schooling and aid in my daily needs.
I find that Crown Point High School has it all, there’s something for everyone. There’s a large diversity in terms of people, cultures, and even things such as extracurricular activities. I find that the one shortcoming of CPHS is its business department. It is severely underfunded and lacking resources. There is only one teacher for all of the computer related classes.
