Student Culture & Diversity: Creek is pretty diverse. You are never the "odd one out" because someone within the school is at least somewhat like you and people are fairly accepting no matter your race, gender, or sexuality.

Academics: depending on the classes you are in, the workload from all of them combined can be extremely overwhelming. However, this teaches time management and persistence, which I definitely appreciate.

Health & Safety: the drills are great, but no one really takes it seriously. When something did happen, no one understood if it was a drill or the real thing. It gets confusing sometimes as to whether or not there is really a threat.

Extracurriculars: Some clubs, such as Science Olympiad, rock! So many teachers help out to give their students the help they need when it comes to their projects. Although, the prestigious clubs such as NHS and Student Council don't do a lot to benefit the school and the students. Being in either of those clubs is just a title, not an honor as every one expects.

Overall Experience: At Cypress Creek, I have been given opportunities that no other school offers. We cougars take pride in our school, the colors the teachers, and the classes. I have made friends from different states and even different countries. Creek is a diverse school with opportunities lying around every corner. It is easy to talk to administration, councilors, and Assistant Principals, making the learning environment more comfortable than any other schools I have been to.
