Gwinnett County Public Schools, located in the metro Atlanta area, is the largest school system in Georgia, the 11th largest district in the United States, and continues to grow.
As a school system of choice, the finest teachers, involved parents, and a supportive community are key elements in the district’s quest to become a system of world-class schools.
In 2022-23, the school district served more than 182,800 students. Approximately one of every five Gwinnett County residents is a GCPS student.

Another issue I encountered was the quality of the food provided in school cafeterias. While there were some healthy options available, there were also small portions of questionable food items that left much to be desired in terms of nutritional value.
