Throughout my entire academic career I've been apart of the Miami-Dade County Public Schools program. Starting from elementary school grounds at Edison Park Elementary to my graduating day of high school at one of the most prestigious schools in the MDCPS circuit, Design and Architecture Senior High! As the years have rolled on I was able to see the change and adaptation of the schools, the faculty, the learning system and much more. As a proud alumni of the MDCPS system I'm working diligently and ambitiously on making my story a story that can be translated to the next child who has grew up in the same Miami-Dade County neighboring-hoods as I.

Hello Niche Users, my overall experience with Miami-Dade County Public Schools has been just phenomenal. The academics were really broken down to each students needs. I went to American Senior High School for three and half years and I enjoyed my experience there. The teachers were spectacular and really prepared us for real life situations. The schools culture really brought everyone together. We learned to reach beyond our highest potential. I truly love it here! I wish to see more parent involvement. I always hoped for more parents to come out to the events and show lots of support.

Miami-Dade County Public Schools is a great system for our kids. I was in this system for about 5 years, and right after followed my younger sister who attended this system throughout all of her schooling. I definitely saw some differences from when I was in school to when she was. It seemed that the school system was really talking into consideration the diversity that was arising. There was emphasis on organizations and clubs welcoming students who felt a connection in order to be more comfortable in the environment. The administration actually would come out to many of the events to support and that was so awesome!
