Overall Experience at CAPA - Creative & Performing Arts:
I will be the first to admit that CAPA is not perfect. As every student in the world, I had a couple of bad teachers and/or teachers I didn't get along with. Some administrators have done or said things that I have disagreed with. Our days are longer than other schools, we have a ridiculous amount of steps, and our mascot is pretty much the laughing stock of other schools (probably also due to the fact the only high school sports team we have is a mediocre Ultimate Frisbee team)
However, I will also be the first to admit that attending CAPA was the best decision I've ever made. I've never met such a diverse, unique, incredibly talented bunch of people in my life; which goes for the students, teachers, and faculty alike. At CAPA, I was able to explore my creative side and learn how to perfect my craft. I fell in love with my major, and I never would have found out that theater is what I want to do with my life if not for CAPA. CAPA is unique because of the amazing experience you will have there.
