Overall Experience: Dan River was a place where I felt comfortable. Sure, there were days when things didn't go well, but things were great overall.

Teachers: The teachers make sure the students learn and stay focused throughout their time in the school, but they do it in a way that isn't boring or nonsensical.

Health & Safety: The safety precautions border on average-severely lacking, and most students and faculty seem to be surprised if there is ever a random security breach. Drug dog searches are always announced beforehand and do not last for very long, and any other issue is addressed mainly through a brief explanation rather than a physical demonstration. Many students have made the area unsafe and have been dealt with in a minimalist way.
