Teachers: Here at David W. Butler High School, for the most part, teachers here do a good job at what they do. Of course in every school, you have those select few teachers who either give frivolous work to students to keep them busy or, in my case, a teacher who becomes irritated if I don't quite comprehend the material being taught. It's baffling to me because one of the most vital traits a teacher must have is patience, and if one doesn't have that, then he or she literally does not have what it takes to be a teacher. But excluding my personal experiences and like I said before, most teachers are willing and put in effort to help a student in need!

Health & Safety: I can say for myself that every day i go to school i feel safe and secured. For the most part our fire drills and lock-down drills are consistent. Butler is very well prepared for anything having to do with safety. Random dog sweeps and contraband sweeps are prominent and they work in students not having drugs on the campus.

Extracurriculars: Clubs and organizations do a good job of getting students involved through sports, arts, and academics. student council does great job in planning events just for and for things like "Breast Cancer Awareness". The level of commitment for different clubs and extracurricular are superb with over 20 options to get involved in. The most popular options are a sport or something in the arts. A lot of people in school, as well as many other schools come out and support these events. The administrative supports is very helpful and supporting saying thing like " I know you guys can succeed" and keeping up with us in whats going on with college decisions.

Overall Experience: My overall experience at my High school has been very good. Butler has a little bit of everything for everyone, which keeps students and parents involved. The Diversity racially and economically is a melting pot with people of many backgrounds and experiences. If I could do it all over again I would continue going to the school I currently attend. From the "Friday night lights" of Football ,other sports, diversity, academics, and great environment I wouldn't want be anywhere else.

Teachers: Butlers teachers, for the most part work very well in going above and beyond for there students. They also make sure the students stay responsible and respectful. What has helped me tremendously in school over the years is the teachers bringing real-world experiences and as well as examples when teaching a lesson. This shows how much knowledge of there subject they really have and know.My teachers have done and still are adding a little comic relief every now and then when teaching a subject. This teaching style makes the students more eager for that certain subject the next time.Overall My teachers for the most part have done a great job of being helpful while at the same time keeping me responsible.
